BACK TO THE MOTHERLAND

here's some pics of our trip to the Phillipines.
just to warn you these are only the first 3 days of my trip. my cam
ran out of batteries after only 3 days. no charger, sucks. but i'll have more pics
once i get them from the other fools: gello, jolli, ken, joe, and enzo.
crazy ass fun, partied til 7am, ate good, massage every day at boracay, lived
it up like kings.
as soon as the boys picked me up from the airport
we went straight to the club, fools had me change on the way there.
after that it was up and running all 12 days, for real! here's a rough recollection of our trip since it got there. they all had a 1 week headstart. most of it is all i can remember so a lot of what we did is missing. We didn't do half the things here together. we split up into pairs or 3's a lot. and at the end even did some solo flights.
day 1: embasy night club, after party at a pool haul at p.burgos st.
day 2: flew out to Boracay, settled in, fell asleep for the first time in 36hrs, rained, partied at summer place a local endparty spot.
day 3-5: partied till dawn, can't remember much, all i know is there were a lot of trannies, that we had these 300ml shots at the Juice Bar called F*ck YOU ARCHIE! another cool as shot at Jude's was called Absent, you take it through a straw while the drink is burning. met some cool ass Brit's named bryan and leo. cool cats from London. Ate like kings and had a daily 1hr massage beach side, a 90 min once. Jen and Julia met us out there our last 2 nights, rode some ATV's, and had a crazed out adventure going island hopping, some friends of mine almost drowned, and went snorkeling (nice!!).
day 6: headed back to manilla. went to a bar called sidebar, pretty cool, tight music.
day 7: slept most of this day pissed off cause we weren't doing a damn thing. checked into a raggedy hotel and then decided it sucked too badly to stay, so Lisa found us a hotel on P.Burgos st. which meant nothing to me at the time, but it was nice: Makati Palace Hotel. went out to HardRock Cafe and Citrus bar. me and joe took a taxi home by ourselves, the only 2 non-naturals of the bunch, got lost, finally made it back to the hotel. After spot on P.Burgos St. now i know what this street meant, it was a damn redlight district. funny as hell figuring that out. but after 3am, you'll definetly know. but it was cool, always something happening, people hanging out walking around. me and joe explored a little. ate at McDonald's had a longanesa burger and an omlette with rice.
day 8: went to Rockwell mall, bought some jeans. then hit embasy that night. ed hung out there, crazy seeing somone you know on the other side of the world, from good old jacksonville.
day 9: went to greenhills mall and tutuban for a knock-off hunt. far ass place. at night we hooked up with the brit's at greenbelt, went club hopping to capone's, then to i think it's called DMC dance manilla club, then to the hotel strip with the brit's. these brit's own p.burgos. they are some crazy peeps, cool tho. it was a crazy scene lets just leave it at that.
day 10: me and gello hit greenhills again, then got stranded at tendacitas looking for pastries, almost got stuck in the dark, no cabs there. scary. after that it was a mixed martial art fight like UFC out in this shopping area called metro walk, pretty cool. after party there in some bar/pool haul. hit jaipoors, kinda weak. a few of us partied the last few hours of the night at p.burgos.
day 11: we hit greenhills for the last time. bought a mess of kicks and other stuff. oh yeah we all combined for like 120 dvd's for a buck ea. long day here, could spend a whole week shopping at this place. met up with sasa and amira at greenbelt, had a nice dinner, some drinks, met up with jen at her pimp ass pad, got jacked by the cab driver cause we all looked like tourists, 120php. walked to citrus bar, half of us ended up at jaipoors then embasy. first filipino rave i've ever been to. ate breakfast, sent jen home in a cab and then we left for the airport.

that's our trip. it was crazy fun! until next year, also might buy a condo in makati. until next year!! as Archi pu it, "na sarap... ma buhay!!!"

what's up what's up!!! i know i haven't poste much, i've been working my a-- off! i've decided to slow down a little bit, even if it's gonna slow me down a little in getting a new car. i've only been out like twice since my first week here. the city of angels hasn't been good to my nightlife, yet. i'm going to apply for a job at cedars sinai in LA. should be able to meet some younger nurses there who actually go out instead of being 40, married, with kids. so that's what my life has been up to lately. i did go out 2 times in the past month. i've got some pics coming up this week. went out to hollywood, this place on vine st. and also a club called level3, in the kodak theater. until next time. laterz my fellow peeps! keep standing.
